Mr. Craig S. Schaner
Mr. Craig S. Schaner, age 40 of Cedar Springs, died Monday, March 1, 2010. He
was born in Hart on August 13, 1969 to Gerald and Donna (Baydl) Schaner. Craig
was a graduate of Hart High School Class of 1987. He was an auctioneer with
his business, Schaner and Sons Auctioneer Services. His interests included
riding horses, deer and small game hunting, riding dirt motorcycles. He was an
avid outdoorsman. Craig always supported his sons in all of their endeavors.
Craig is survived by 2 sons, Seth Schaner and Garrrett Schaner, both of Big
Rapids; his parents, Gerald and Donna Schaner of Hart; 2 sisters, Deborah
(Steve) Eisenlohr of Hart, Tamara Schaner of Hart; 1 brother, Todd Schaner of
Chicago, IL. He is also survived by his former wife, Cheryl Csernai of Big
Rapids and his father and mother in law, Bill and Bonnie Olendorf of Big
Rapids.
